For New Plans, coverage begins with the original in-service date (warranty start date) and zero mileage.  Coverage expires upon reaching your selected time or mileage, whichever occurs first.  Some eligibility limitations may apply.

For Used Plans on non-Ford vehicles and Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles with no remaining New Vehicle Limited Warranty, coverage begins at the signature date and mileage on the vehicle at time of purchase.

This comprehensive plan covers a spectrum of manufacturer-recommended maintenance services, including normal wear items.

Ford ESP's Premium Maintenance Plan covers the following items if they fail due to normal wear:

This is a prepaid plan; you pay nothing more for covered services.

 

First Day Rental Option:  You can purchase rental assistance, too.  With this added coverage, you'll be reimbursed for a rental vehicle from the very first day, whenever you leave your car at the dealer for covered maintenance services.  It also applies to any repairs under your Bumper-to-Bumper New Vehicle Limited Warranty.  Reimbursement is up to $30 per day ($36 for Lincoln) for up to two days.

Ford ESP has designed different coverage options to meet your budget and specific driving needs.  Each plan provides affordable maintenance for up to six (6) years.  All maintenance replacements are made with original manufacturer's (OEM) parts.

Premium Coverage for Scheduled Maintenance

 

  1. Change engine oil and replace oil filter
  2. Inspect and rotate tires
  3. Perform multipoint inspection
  4. Check fluid levels and fill:
  •        Transmission (if equipped with a dipstick)
  •           Brake reservoir
  •           Power steering
  •           Coolant recovery reservoir
  •           Window washer

   5.     Check following systems/components:

  •         Operation of horn, interior lights, exterior lamps, turn signals and hazard and brake lights
  •           Windshield washer spray, wiper operation and wiper blades
  •           Windshield for cracks, chips and pitting
  •           Radiator, heater and air conditioning hoses for leaks and damage
  •           Engine air filter
  •           Oil and fluid leaks
  •           Exhaust system (leaks, damage, loose parts)
  •           Steering and steering linkages
  •           Shocks/struts and other suspension
  •           Accessory drive belt(s)
  •           Clutch operation (if equipped)
  •           Inspect tires for wear and check air pressure
 The following services are representative of recommended maintenance for your vehicle.  Your actual plan will be based on your Ford, Lincoln, Mercury or competitive-make vehicle's maintenance needs as indicated in your Owner's Scheduled Maintenance Guide:
  • Inspect brake pads/shoes/rotors/drums, brake lines and hoses, and parking brake system
  • Inspect wheel ends for end play and noise
  • Inspect and lubricate steering linkage, ball joints, suspension, and if equipped, half shafts, drive shafts and U-joints
  • Change transmission fluid
  • Replace fuel filter
  • Replace engine air filter
  • Change premium gold engine coolant
  • Replace PCV valve
  • Change transfer case fluid, if equipped
  • If equipped, inspect and lubricate 4x4 front axle shaft U-joints
  • If equipped, lubricate 4x4 front hub needle bearings
  • If equipped, lubricate 4x2 front wheel bearings, replace grease seals and adjust bearings.

Wheel and rim coverage is available for the life of the contract

 

Wheel inspection may be required prior to claim approval

 Tire repair includes all costs associated with repair (i.e., weights, valve stems and disposal).

If the tire is non-repairable and has more than 3/32" of tread depth remaining, reimbursement will be provided for the replacement of the damaged tire with a new tire of like kind, quality and cost.

Owner will be reimbursed 100% of the cost of a new tire, including mounting, balancing, new valve stem, tire disposal and sales tax as shown on the sales invoice.
