Rental benefits will be available if your vehicle is inoperable and must be kept overnight for a covered repair.  You will be reimbursed up to $28 per day ($35 for Lincoln) for up to 10 days.  Rental reimbursement also applies for repairs covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.  First-day rental option is available on new plans only for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles.  Benefits will also be afforded for Recalls or Customer Satisfaction Programs involving and ESP covered component for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles only.

Roadside Assistance is administered by Ford Auto Club.  Services include: Flat tire change, Battery jump starts, Towing when the vehicle is disabled (limited to one tow per disablement), Lock-out assistance, Out of fuel assistance - delivery of up to two (2) gallons of gasoline of diesel fuel, Travel expense reimbursement up to $500 for up to three (3) days lodging, meals and rental vehicle for travel expenses accrued when the breakdown occurs more than 100 miles from home, Destination assistance covers taxi, shuttle or rental car expense up to $75 for emergency transportation to the immediate destination.

Optional Road Hazard Coverage (New Plans Only) - If elected, coverage is provided for Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles (cars and light trucks up to and including F550) covered by a Ford Motor Company New Vehicle Limited Warranty that includes coverage of tire defects.  Coverage is limited to the repair or replacement of a tire that is punctured, bruised or broken by a road hazard (examples include potholes, nails, glass and jagged metal).  Coverage period for Road Hazard Tire Coverage is for the term of the PowertrainCARE time and mileage plan selected.

For Used Plans on non-Ford vehicles and Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles with no remaining New Vehicle Limited Warranty, coverage begins at the signature date and mileage on the vehicle at time of purchase.

Ford ESP Quality Care Maintenance Protection Plan covers a comprehensive list of manufacturer-recommended scheduled maintenance items. There is no deductible and a two-day/$28 first-day ($35 for Lincoln) rental option is available. Coverage is transferable. Severe-duty service is covered by the Optional Scheduled Maintenance plan.
